NED is a public website for browsing Sierra Leone's national school registry — including school lists, maps, and education statistics. We do not require you to create an account to use the site.
This site is operated by Nexlura LLC. School data is collected separately through authorized internal tools and is published here for public reference.
Information we publish
The registry displays institutional school information such as school names, EMIS codes, regions, districts, addresses, school level, ownership, gender composition, and map coordinates.
This information is intended for public education and planning purposes. It does not include personal data about students, teachers, or visitors.
Information we collect from visitors
When you browse the site, standard web server and hosting logs may record your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and request timestamps. We use these logs only to keep the service secure and reliable.
We do not use advertising trackers, sell visitor data, or profile individual users for marketing.
Cookies and local storage
The public dashboard does not set login cookies or require cookies to view school data.
If you use browser tools that save preferences locally, that data stays on your device and is not sent to us unless you submit it through a form or support request.
Third-party services
School maps may load map tiles from OpenStreetMap contributors. Your browser may contact those providers directly when you view the map.
The site also calls the NED school registry API to load school data. API requests may include technical headers needed to operate the service.
Data accuracy and retention
Registry records may be updated, corrected, or removed as school information changes. We aim to keep published data current, but cannot guarantee that every record is complete or error-free.
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations, then deleted or aggregated.
